Melbourne High School Crew Alumnus Returns to Mel Hi as New Head Coach

Kristen Sukolsky was announced as MHS new Head Coach at the Parent Meeting
Thursday night, August 28th. Kristen was born and raised in Florida and graduated
our own Melbourne High School in 2003. She was a four year coxswain and letter
winner under former MHS Coach Matt Kaminski.

Kristen then attended Marietta College where she was a coxswain for the men's
team. As a sophomore, she earned a gold medal at Bill Braxton Regatta and as a
freshman, she earned sixth place at Dad Vails and fourth place at SIRA's.

Kristen finished her education at Jacksonville University where she was a coxswain
for the Men's JU Dolphin Rowing Team. Kristen has many accomplishments from JU
Including a 5th place at Dad Vail; a first for JU. Kristen was named MVP of the Men's
Team in 2007. After graduation, Kristen stayed in Jacksonville to help JU Coach their
